An automation plugin for Winamp written by Shane Hird.
The ActiveWinamp plugin exposes much of Winamp’s functionality through COM / ActiveX. You may use this to write VB or .NET or any other applications which interact with Winamp. You can automate Winamp internally or externally. Write scripts that can be executed from the playlist, “Send To” menu or hot keys, or from external scripts and programs.
The CVS version has been significantly updated since version 1.0. If you are using ActiveWinamp seriously, it is suggested you obtain the CVS version instead (not the CVS-snapshot or version 1.0, but the version in the CVS). I also encourage you to look at the source and if possible submit fixes to any existing problems or missing features.
